Dear friends
We are taking a mid-winter break! A chance to pause, be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him, resting in His presence, praising Him for the cold weather, dark nights, the wind and the rain…
David wrote:
One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple.
Psalm 27 v 4
I am hoping that we will be able to start up again in late July (e.g. Wednesday 28 July 2021), with some face-to-face meetings in the ‘upper room’ at the Flinders Street Baptist Church.
I am also looking for new leadership (by way of succession planning). Please pray about this!
When we start up again, I would like us to read through the Songs of Ascents (Psalms 120 to 134), over three meetings, and then get back to Revelation. The Bible has much to say about these turbulent and uncertain times.
In the meantime, let us focus on prayer…
Check out the website (which now has a ‘Prayer’ page), and let me know if you have anything you would like us to pray about (and can share with the group and I can post on the website):
Blessings, Adrian
